Q: Do you offer Microsoft FrontPage?
A: The Microsoft FrontPage Extensions are installed. All you need to do is 'enable' the extensions in your cPanel (Control Panel).

Q: Do you have the Extensions for Microsoft FrontPage 2003?
A: Microsoft FrontPage does not require special extensions for version 2003.

Q: Do you give us SMTP mail, or just the outgoing POP3?
A: All domains receive their own SMTP and POP3.

Q: Do you offer hosting on Windows servers?
A: No. Although we enjoy Windows servers, we host exclusively on Linux systems.

Q:  Do you provide backups?
A: No. You are responsible for your backups and web content.

Our servers are backed up weekly, and we can restore from those. However, this is NOT a procedure you should rely on to keep your content safe. Backups made every Sunday; only the newest backups are kept. We make no guarantees about the weekly backups. and we do require up to a $30 fee to restore the backups.

Q: How do I do a full backup?
A full backup is a backup of all of your files, e-mail, databases, etc.  The backup takes a while to perform and the server will send you an email once the backup is ready to download. Below are the steps necessary to perfom a backup; first log into your cPanel.

  1. Select 'Backups'.
  2. Select 'Download or Generate a Full Web Site Backup'.
  3. In the drop down menu, select 'Home Directory'.
  4. In the box to the right of 'eMail Address', enter the email address where you want a notification sent once the back up is complete.
  5. Leave the remaining settings blank.
  6. Select 'Generate back up'.
  7. This will generate the back up for you and place the TAR.GZ file in your Home Directory.
  8. When complete, you will be notified by eMail, and you will then be able to download the backup via cPanel, FTP or SSH

To download the backup from cPanel:

  1.  Select 'Backups'.
  2. Select 'Download or Generate a Full Web Site Backup'.
  3. Under 'Backups Available for Download', select the link with the file name of the desired backup.
  4. It will then start to download, select 'Save'.
  5. Select a destination on your PC where you would like to save the backup file.
  6. Select 'Save'.
  7. Delete the TAR.GZ backup file off your website.
If you would like to download the backup with FTP or SSH, please see your documentation for the download application.
